The inaugural conference of the CONNOR: Nordic Network of Conspiracy Theory Research took place on May 23–24, 2024, at Lund University, Sweden. It brought together scholars from across the Nordic countries and beyond to examine conspiracy theories in historical, cultural, political, and psychological perspectives. Participants explored topics ranging from the roots of conspiracy thinking and its amplification in media to its impact on politics, education, and public trust. Comparative case studies and methodological discussions enriched the debate, while sessions on countermeasures and media literacy highlighted practical approaches. The event marked a key milestone in Nordic conspiracy theory research.
